Stephen Kovacevich (b. 1940) is an American pianist and conductor who currently lives in Hampstead Village, London. He was born in California and changed his name to Bishop when his mother remarried. To avoid confusion with the singer-songwriter and guitarist Stephen Bishop, the pianist started performing as Stephen Bishop-Kovacevich in the mid-seventies.
